Alright, this is the big hush-hush secret surprise I’ve been keeping all week. I have relocated my blog. Before you start groaning about having to change your subscriptions, bookmarks and blog rolls (again!), I’d like to stress that this is a good thing, (otherwise I wouldn’t have gone to all the trouble!)
1. The new blog is on wordpress.com (which means it’s free.) I’m over the specialness of having a “dot com”. Last week I got an E-mail reminding me to renew my domain and hosting before they expire. I won’t be doing that.
2. When I moved my blog I worked for literally days removing posts I felt “unworthy”. My new blog’s archives are full of only what I consider to be my best writing - so you don’t have to dig through the fluff.
3. I have resigned from all “paid to blog” companies. While working for those companies I worked hard to maintain my own personal ethics and provide full disclosure, but if it made you uneasy, know that the new blog is 100% free of any sponsored posts or paid links.
4. The new blog is cleaner and more organized. I’ve weaned myself of my sidebar obsession so you can focus on the writing.
5. I am abandoning my other two blogs as well. This will allow me to focus my time and energy into quality posts. Also know that I’m using the name “Curious Villager” (from my travel blog). Say “Adios” to Empty Boxes.

I was nervous yesterday b/c I just updated my link from spilt milk to empty boxes and it wasn’t showing up!! I am glad that you are still here! :)

Pol - Thank you for pointing that out!! I didn’t realize it was set up like that in the settings. I changed it so you should be able to comment now without a Wordpress account! :)

Thank You Tee - this is wonderful piece of news and even though this blog is named ‘emptyboxes’ you are and have never been ‘empty’ to me.
You are far more intelligent and full of wisdom, all these while I respected your opinions and everything about you is wonderful :D
